ResourcePolicyAssignment Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
The ResourcePolicyAssignment resource accepts the following input properties:
- PolicyDefinition stringId
- The ID of the Policy Definition or Policy Definition Set. Changing this forces a new Policy Assignment to be created.
- ResourceId string
- The ID of the Resource (or Resource Scope) where this should be applied. Changing this forces a new Resource Policy Assignment to be created. - To create a Policy Assignment at a Management Group use the - azure.management.GroupPolicyAssignmentresource, for a Resource Group use the- azure.core.ResourceGroupPolicyAssignmentand for a Subscription use the- azure.core.SubscriptionPolicyAssignmentresource.
- Description string
- A description which should be used for this Policy Assignment.
- DisplayName string
- The Display Name for this Policy Assignment.
- Enforce bool
- Specifies if this Policy should be enforced or not? Defaults to true.
- Identity
ResourcePolicy Assignment Identity
- An - identityblock as defined below.- Note: The - locationfield must also be specified when- identityis specified.
- Location string
- The Azure Region where the Policy Assignment should exist. Changing this forces a new Policy Assignment to be created.
- Metadata string
